There’s no trial, so here’s the honest version up front. Read this before you buy.
Transfers cleanly
- Vector paths, compound paths (with holes), groups
- Multiline text — font, size, justification, color
- Strokes — caps, joins, dashes, miter; solid fills
- Gradients — via a Gradient Ramp effect, or a solid fallback
- Clipping masks → AE layer masks (split-layers mode)
Doesn’t do (yet)
- Placed / raster images and mesh objects
- CMYK / grayscale / spot color — approximated; use RGB
- Figma / Photoshop — Illustrator-only for now
- Needs After Effects running with an active comp

Questions, answered
How do I install it?
No installer. In Illustrator, go to File > Scripts > Other Script… and pick Conveyor.jsxbin from the download. No admin password, identical on Mac and Windows. Want it in the menu permanently? Drop the file into Illustrator’s Scripts folder — the Quick Start has the exact path for each OS.
Which versions does it work with?
After Effects 2023 and newer, and a recent Illustrator [CONFIRM versions], on both macOS and Windows. After Effects must be running with a composition open and active; you run Conveyor from Illustrator.
Is there a trial?
No — Conveyor is a one-time $29 purchase. Instead of a trial, the demo video and the honest compatibility list show you exactly what it does before you buy.
What’s your refund policy?
If Conveyor doesn’t work as described, email jakefischerdesigns@gmail.com and we’ll sort it out. Purchases and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.
Does it work with Figma or Photoshop?
Not yet — Conveyor is Illustrator-only for now. It reads your Illustrator selection and rebuilds it in After Effects.
Will it transfer my placed images?
No. Conveyor rebuilds vector artwork (paths, text, gradients) as native AE layers. Placed/raster images and mesh objects aren’t transferred.
